Chill 'Rillaz Fans!

Now...if you were a true blue 'Rillaz fan, you all would know to NEVER believe what you read about Gorillaz. Well, at least when it has to do with them breaking up. I can't tell you that they aren't over, but come on, how many times have they "broken up"? Demon Days was supposed to be their "last album" and so was Plastic Beach, blah blah blah. Even back in September/October, when Murdoc was trolling all over his Twitter about "the end of Gorillaz", turns out it was about their 10 year anniversary and the release of their Singles album. :/ Gorillaz have also been known to troll. A LOT. Jamion and Murdoc both have sent us on freak out rants and caused us to be worried about their end for years now. I'm so damn used to it that I have no idea whether or not to believe what they are saying now. On top of that, Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn have gotten into quarrels before and the tabloids have stated that they wouldn't be working together. However Gorillaz has always made a comeback....now again, I'm not reassuring that Gorillaz has not broken up, because Gorillaz will come to end eventually...but I would think that Jamie would want it to go out with a bang right? I mean, come on, he had a fantastic ending planned for PB but couldn't properly do it due to budget cuts. I don't think Jamie would leave the story hanging. PLUS lets not forget the new book that is supposedly being worked on.


I am a bit upset that Jamie and Damon are grown men and can't suck it up and therefore take it out on the fans...I respect them as artists and all, but I think they should end Gorillaz properly, instead of half assed....which I highly doubt that they will.

Again, I can't tell you what's going on. It's really hard to say. I personally think this is another hiatus...normally when the band takes a break or time off it's usually for a gap of a few years. So let's not lose faith! And if this turns out that this is really how they are going out, I mean, I'll be disappointed....but Jamie still makes new art and Damon still makes new music. It's just the end of Gorillaz, not Jamie Hewlett or Damon Albarn. However, I really think it's probably another break...and I hope that when Gorillaz does end, it ends with a bang.
